Nizamabad Mandi Selected for effective implementation of reforms for strengthening the e-NAM

The Nizamabad Agriculture Market yard was selected for the national level award for the effective implementation of reforms for strengthening the electronic National Agriculture Market (e-NAM). District Collector received the award from the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi at a function held in connection with the Civil Services Day celebrations in New Delhi on April 21, 2017.

e-NAM is the flagship programme of the Central Government and the district secured very good recognition for being in the forefront in the execution of the project. The Collector has taken special interest on it to plug laxities in the project implementation resulting in the easy access to nationwide trading for farmers avoiding middlemen.

GFPCL at Modasa in Gujarat helps farmers realise higher prices through e-NAM

Girimala Farmers Producer Company Ltd. (GFPCL) is formed to serve small & marginal farmers in villages around Modasa, Gujarat. Currently the company is working in 26 villages with 980 members of Meghraj and Malpurblocks of Aravali district. Company's primary objective is to increase income and employment of member farmers through strengthening their present livelihood.

Better prices obtained by MPFSRPCL farmers through e-NAM

Mahakaushal Progressive Farmers Self Reliant Producer Company Ltd. (MPFSRPCL) is registered at Chikla village of Seoni district in Madhya Pradesh. It serves 3000 farmers from 29 villages in Seoni. e-NAM mandi professional Shri Manoj Patle at Seoni attended Kisan Sammelan of MPFSRPCL to create awareness about e-NAM & it’s benefits to farmers. The interaction developed interest amongst the MPFSRPCL members and they requested their officials to learn more about e-NAM.

e-NAM Registered FPOs Received Appreciation from Hon'ble CM of Jharkhand

e-NAM registered FPOs received appreciation at State level by Hon'ble CM of Jharkhand Sri Hemant Soren. The Program Organized by NABARD, at Project Bhawan on 23rd Feb’22. The CM handed over mementos to FPOs Ichak Green Agro Farmer Producer Company, Churchu Wadi FalSabji Producer Company Ltd, Barkagaon Pragatisheel Producer Company Ltd.

These FPOs registered on e-NAM at Hazaribagh Mandi dated 12-08-2021, 29-02-2020 and 12-08-2021 respectively. As on date (25/02/2022), these FPOs have traded commodities worth Rs 46.45 lacs, 41.56 lacs, 20.08 lacs respectively. The major traded commodities: Paddy, Wheat, Watermelon, Tomato and Onion.

Felicitation Program for Farmers, FPOs and Traders on Republic Day

APMC Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, organized felicitation program for the active Farmers, FPOs and Traders on Republic Day, 26th Jan 2022. On the occasion, momentos and appreciation letters were distributed by the SDM of Hazaribagh, Sri Vidhya Bhusan Kumar.

FPOs Churchu Nari Urja Farmer Producer Company Ltd and Ichak Green Agro Producer Company Ltd, traders M/s Chandrawati Rice Mill, Shri Pappy Saw and M/s Jaiswal Oil and Spices and farmer Shri Sukhdeo Rana were felicitated with momento for their active trade participation on e-NAM platform. FPOs Dadi Sanyuk Gramin Producer Company Ltd., Katkamsandi Progressive Farmer Service Producer Company Ltd., Vanopag Farmer Producer Company Ltd., Churchu Wadi FalSabji Producer Company Ltd., Barsoti Agri Producer Company Ltd. and Atmanirbhar Katkamdag Farmers Services Producer Company Ltd. along with trader M/s Krishna Foods and farmers Shri Chhotelal Prajati and Shri Ajit Kumar Rana received appreciation letter for their active trade participation on eNAM platform. During the interaction with participants, SDM Hazaribagh encouraged them all to keep the pace in coming time also.
